The pot magnet is composed of magnet, steel shell and gasket.
1.Magnet: NdFeB, SmCo, Ferrite, Alnico and other materials can be used to make a cup magnet. However, Horizon Magnetics focus on the NdFeB magnet pot magnet.
2.Steel shell: It is steel material and the production process has two types: stamping and turning. The price of stamping process is lower while the dimension precision of turning process is higher. The turning process can produce products with more size requirements, especially the products with larger diameter. Turning process can reach higher accuracy than stamping for the same size. Horizon Magnetics supply pot magnets with external thread with both options of turning and stamping so as to meet customers’ diverse requirements, better price or better size accuracy.
3.Gasket: Generally it is plastic material. Sometimes it can be epoxy resin. Both options of plastic ring and epoxy resin are available in Horizon Magnetics.
